Required Water and Hydrology Courses
All
students are required to take these three courses. Masters students
must take 2 WMHS 681 seminar courses and Ph.D. students
must take 3 WMHS 681 seminar courses.

601 Applications and Problems in Hydrological Science (2-1) Credit
3. Integration and application of biophysical hydrologic
processes affecting surface and groundwater resources. Taught in a problem/resolution
based format. Applications of experience through problem identification,
data collection, analysis and identification of solutions and alternatives.

602 Contemporary Issues in Water Resources (3-0) Credit 3. Examination
of contemporary issues in water resource systems including water quantity,
water quality, ecosystem sustainability and water supply. Focus on
economic, legal, political and social considerations, and alternatives
analysis
in water resource systems.

681 Seminar (1-0) Credit 1. Presentations by faculty, students, visiting
scholars and other researchers of important
developments in
hydrological science research and water management. Students may
register and receive credit for not more than 3 seminar hours.
