In the Water Degree Program, students can earn a non-thesis degree - the Master of Water Management (MWM) - or a thesis master of science or doctoral degree in Water Management and Hydrological Science. The Master of Water Management degree provides professional graduate education that emphasizes problem solving, management and technical skills in water. The MWM curriculum prepares students to manage public water systems and water resources. The Master of Science and Doctoral degree programs give students a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of water science and hydrology and training in research methods. Students pursuing an MS or Ph.D. must have a faculty advisory committee chairperson identified before they can be accepted into the program.
